My latest shell is this twelve inch maximum diameter eastern red cedar shell.  It was completed in December 2008 and is my new favorite.  It was made from a few pieces of firewood I bought from my neighbor!  This wood is also known as aromatic cedar or juniper and is very common in Arkansas and nearby states.
